Although the top ten environmental issues listed above carry different impacts in different regions of the world, they nonetheless present an accurate global picture. Still, if human population growth is recognized as the most pervasive cause of today’s environmental issues, it should probably be number one on the list. From the shrinking of the Arctic ice cap and the rapid loss and degradation of the Amazon and Congo Rainforests to the massive global waste management issues and declining integrity of the Antarctic ice shelves, human impact is indelibly connected… not the only cause, but certainly of significant impact.

It’s great to see literature on major environmental issues. I’d also like to see more on things we can do as individuals beyond the standard bringing canvas bags to the grocery store.
For example, I need to build a fence to stop trespassing. What free, throwaway materials can I use to build an attractive fence that would look good in an upper middle class neighborhood of brick homes?

Although the top ten environental problem awill impact people in different locations differently, everyone will undoubtedly feel it. it is better to be proactive than reactive. we should have an upper hand on global environmental issues that have an impact on our lives!!!
many people find issue to do with the environment a bore but let us fac the facts, boring or not, noone can afford to ignore these issues anymore….except a fool!!
