Blueberry_Round-Color-LogoTheme of the 49th annual Marshall County Blueberry Festival is “Heroes Among Us.”  This year the Blueberry Festival is honoring those heroes that serve quietly and expertly, the physicians, mid-level providers, the nurses and technicians and staff of Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center at the Plymouth Campus.

These people serve our community with skill, compassion, and indescribable commitment.  They care for us as our most vulnerable times and during our most joyous times.

Sherrie Martin, Festival Coordinator said, “These are the people who celebrate with us, and even pray for us.  These are the people we share our deepest thoughts and feelings with.  Their satisfaction comes through giving.”

Heroes come in all shapes and sizes and the Marshall County Blueberry Festival hopes everyone will share part of their Labor Day holiday weekend with their hero at this year’s festival.

Representatives from the hospital will be Grand Marshalls for the parade which steps off at 9:30 Monday, September 7th and is sponsored by St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.
