The first room you enter is most awful! It is huge, damp, chilly, smelly, dark and noisy...you are inside the rumbling intestines of the dinosaur!

There is the constant noise of dripping water, slamming doors, frightened pigeons, and paper rustling in the breeze. These sounds are masked by noises from the street, just a few meters away (but a totally different world). There are so many sounds that you cannot rely on the sense of hearing alone, for detecting other possible intruders. Every decision you make is determined by what you see; perhaps assisted by smell and instinct. Entering a dark stairwell with this handicap is not very reassuring!
