A practical workshop is held every 18 months in New Zealand.  
Previous students have come from as  
far away as Australia, Singapore, and Europe.  
This is associated with the MCI correspondence course, 
and is for current  MCI students as well  
as for anyone interested in Montessori (3-6 years) education. 
   

Montessori Workshop  
~ Rajasthan, India ~ 
Pauline Harter conducted a special ten day workshop  
in Jaipur during December 2001 and January 2002, at 
The Palace Montessori School. 
The Director of this new school is  
Princess Diya Kumari, of the Jaipur Royal Family. 
The principal of The Palace Montessori School first contacted 
workshop tutor Pauline Harter via this site!

Early Childhood Practical Workshop 
~ New Zealand ~ 
 
The 2002 workshop will be held in  
Masterton, New Zealand,  
Monday 23 Sept. to Saturday 5 Oct. 2002
  
On the last day, practical and written examinations will be held.  
Masterton is northeast of Wellington and is easily accessed  
by train, bus or car.  See the map on a page in this site.

This workshop is for anyone interested in Montessori preschool

The tutor is Pauline Harter, who is  a  
Montessori Centre International Distance Learning tutor,
owner of the Wairarapa Montessori Centre, head teacher 
of WairarapaPrimary - Wa Ora Montessori, 
and past  executive member of the Montessori 
Association of New Zealand. 
 
Pauline has the ‘Foundation’ and ‘Advanced’ diplomas from 
A. M. I., a diploma in Primary Education (N.Z.), and a 
‘Special and Remedial Education’ diploma (England).
 
 
After completing her training in India, Italy and England, Pauline
has been actively involved in Montessori education for over 30 years -
having taught in England, the United States, India and New Zealand. 
She has a wealth of experience and knowledge as well as 
joyous enthusiasm for Montessori education.
 
Pauline is known by many  Montessorians in New Zealand 
and overseas to be a 'gifted' teacher who creates a 
'magical' influence on children as well as adults.
