The Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grant (DDRIG) program provides support to enhance and improve the conduct of doctoral dissertation research in political science. Awards support basic research which is theoretically derived and empirically oriented. Deadline: June 15, 2024

APSA Centennial Center Summer Research Grants

The Summer Centennial Center Grant Program offers thirteen grants to assist APSA members with the costs of research. The typical Summer Centennial Center grant for an individual scholar is between $1,000 and $2,500, but awards can reach a maximum size of $10,000 for workshops, events, or projects that more broadly support or advance the discipline. Deadline: June 17, 2024

 

 

Submit Nominations for the Adaljiza Sosa Riddell Mentoring Award

The APSA Committee on the Status of Latinos y Latinas in the Profession is now accepting nominations for the Adaljiza Sosa-Riddell Mentoring Award. Named in honor of the first Latina to earn a PhD in political science, Adaljiza Sosa-Riddell, this award recognizes exceptional mentoring of Latino/a students and junior faculty each year with three awards. Deadline: July 15, 2024

 

APSA Campus Teaching Award Submissions

Each year, APSA recognizes faculty who have won campus teaching awards. APSA features the winners and titles of their awards in the November issue of Political Science Today. A Collection of Articles from Cambridge on Abortion Politics

In the wake of the United States Supreme Court’s ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overruled long-term precedents securing the right to choose abortion Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey, we present a special collection of political science research drawn from APSA and Cambridge journals addressing the politics of abortion and abortion rights.
