The Scottish Arts Council hosted a fringe meeting at the 2004 Scottish Liberal Democrats Conference in Dundee entitled ‘From breaking the law to breaking the mould’. Angus McLewin gave a presentation on how the arts can make an impact on youth crime, chaired by Jim Tough,
Head of Arts at the Scottish Arts Council.


Centre for Creative Communities - Common Threads: An Agenda for Active Citizenship Symposium
In February 2003, the Centre for Creative Communities (CCC) organised a two-day symposium at the Business Design Centre in London. The Common Threads: an Agenda for Active Citizenship symposium was designed to open up a debate between society’s traditional sectors, and find sustainable solutions to the shared complex problems of our society.
