Left: An early Paasche Model C. It is a thumb operated version of the Model A & B. The handle design is based on a 1907 Paasche patent claiming "a handle conforming better to the hand than the cylindrical handle heretofore used". It was also suggested for for those with "unsteady hands." The air hose passes through the handle to right angle fitting on the air valve body. The trigger is thumb actuated as in the original Walkup design. It is the rarest of the "Turbo" variants. It is marked "J.A. Paasche" rather than "Paasche Airbrush Co." It is shown in the 1923 Paasche catalog #18. (Click here to visit that page-opens in a new window) |

Right: Close-up of Paasche A-B. The A, B, C are the same basic airbrush, the difference being the angle of the cup and air blast nozzle and which direction the spray went. The picture is a "B" for spraying on a horizontal surface. The "A" had a cup that was for use on an slanted easel. |
