Ambleside Central is self-serve room only accommodation therefore there aren’t any keys to collect. All our doors have smart locks which require a code. On the day of your arrival, you’ll receive both a front door code and a room door code by text message. These will only be valid for the duration of your stay and will change on the day of your departure. When booking, please make you sure include a mobile phone number to receive the door codes, this is very important. 

Your stay with us will include crisp white bed linen on a good quality mattress, fresh white towels and tea and coffee facilities. You will also find a TV and hairdryer in your room and can have use of an iron upon request. Your room will be serviced daily between 10:30 and 14:00.

Please be aware that Ambleside Central is a tall, Victorian building which, like most buildings in Ambleside, has no lift and is not best suited to those with mobility issues. We are in a vibrant and busy part of town, in the vicinity of bars and restaurants and on the main road: weekends and holiday seasons can be busy for us and the neighbourhood which can be a noisy. If you seek the peaceful idyll of rural Lake District, Ambleside Central is not the place for you.

Checking-in Time is from 3pm but once you receive your codes, you are free to arrive

Checking-out Time is between 10am - 10:30am.
