AirPress designed and launched the first portable bag press back in 1993. We designed an easy to use affordable bag pressing system for the veneering and laminating of wooden components. Our aim has always been to design and produce high quality products that make difficult processes easier and more cost effective. Tools that work reliably and consistently for years to come.

The principles of bag press technology are simple. First, as the vacuum is created, atmospheric pressure bears down at a pressure of 3/4 ton per sq foot down on the work inside the bag press with perfect uniformity. As the air is drawn out of the cells in the surface structure of the wood, glue is sucked into these cells. The results are exceptional and provide dependable and consistent veneering.

The hoses and connectors have been upgraded on the Professional bag press to match the speed and makes this best selling Vacuum Press even more efficient.

At the top of the range we have the Industrial portable Bag press which comes fitted to a frame on castors. This is equipped with the most powerful pump in the range and comes with a build-in, 4 port manifold for multi-bag pressing. The high-speed evacuation of the Industrial Bag press makes this the ideal choice for running the largest of bags and is a great Vacuum Press for the busy larger workshop.

Each kit comes ready for use straight away, complete with a bag, hose and connectors and is engineered for quality and reliability. The pumps are of compact, maintenance free construction and are designed to run continuously against a vacuum for perfect veneering and laminating.
