Brian has been an A.P.G.I.A. qualified instructor for a number of year for fly fishing and has fished extensively throughout the British Isles and Ireland in pursuit of trout and salmon.

Currently Brian spends most of his angling time guiding anglers on the River Clyde system fishing dry fly for brown trout.

Chris has been a serious match angler since the age of 12 during which time he has won a number of sea angling championships across Scotland and England.

Chris became a junior Scottish Internationalist in 2001 winning gold in 2007 and graduating into the Senior Scottish squad for the Senior Home Nations in 2010.

Iain is an accomplished angler and has been a Scotland International regular for over a decade with several Team Gold’s to his name, he enjoys the rigours of fishing Scotland’s west coast sea lochs but has also travelled the world in search of more exotic quarry.

Gus has been involved in the development and delivery of angling coaching across the UK for many years and is currently the Chairman of the Scottish Federation for Coarse Angling.

Gus balances a busy life in the Army with coaching the Scottish National team, national consultation on coarse fisheries and youth development initiatives.

John brings years of fishing experience through competition, volunteer coaching and administration responsibilities.

He has been the captain of the Scottish Disability Angling Team and has represented his country on eight occasions winning 12 Senior National and International competitions during this time.

John was the co-founder of the SFCA Centre for Excellence at Barony College in Dumfries and has been an office bearer with the SFCA for over three years.

John has fished at National League level with Lanarkshire Angling Club since 1984 and was a finalist in the acclaimed Ayr Strike competition in 2008.

Mark cut he’s teeth on the Essex fishing circuit where he specialized in match fishing and carp/specimen hunting.

He has won many competitions and has a string of big carp to his name and is now a qualified Level 2 UKCC coach.

Mark is enjoying passing on his knowledge of all techniques to other anglers who may wish go course, specimen and match fishing.

Simon has recently been appointed as the Development Officer for the Get Hooked on Fishing - Scotland initiative and is based in the Dumfries and Galloway region.

Simon has been involved as a coaching volunteer for the Saturday fishing club and Broom Fishery in Annan where he has honed his coaching skills for a number of years.

Steve has been fishing for over 30 yrs and is currently a bailiff on both the River Annan and Castle Loch Fishery.

He coaches fishing to children and young adults at Barony College in Dumfries in addition to working with young disability anglers at the Ark in Annan.

Steve can boast specimen catches of Pike to 27lbs 2oz, Tench to 8lbs, carp to 27lbs and Bream to 10lbs.
