Overview

Aloha Carrier Services provides various Voice Traffic Services for Communication Providers.

We provide the following:

  • National and International Voice Aggregation (Also known as Wholesale Termination, Calls etc.)
    • UK National Voice Calls
    • European Originated Rated Voice Calls
    • International Calls
  • Numbering (DIDs)
  • Access to Aloha Number Ranges (SMP and GC Regulatory Requirements)
  • Facilitate porting Agreements for Aloha Number Ranges

Using our large set of interconnects with national and international landline/mobile operators, Aloha is in the position to provide high quality, competitive National and International Voice Aggregation services. We are also able to provide calls to European destinations (pending they originate within the European Economic Area) at substantially lower rates than most CPs.

Interconnection terms are prepaid (minimum £250+VAT - No Setup Fee) and are generally live for testing within 5 working days once contracts have been signed and funds prepaid. Our services are for both new entrant CPs and established CPs nationally and within the European Economic Area.

Network Access (Interconnection) is normally via Public IP (SIP RFC 3261).

Nuisance/Spoof/Spam calls from an Aloha Number?:

Aloha undertakes no tele-marketing, nor do we provide tele-marketing services to others. We primarily handle calls for other telecom operators nationally and internationally. In turn our clients (other phone companies) will then provide services to consumer and business customers (or possibly again to other phone providers).

Aloha has phone numbers allocated to us from the regulator Ofcom. Of which these are allocated to our clients where they may then allocate these to their clients.

When it comes to Nuisance, Spoof, Spam etc calls we take them very serious and attempt to put an end it promptly (where we can). However unfortunately we discover most of the time these calls do not originate/transit from our network and in many cases, the phone number concerned either a) has not actually been allocated or b) has nothing todo with the number owner in question (i.e the CLI has been spoofed).

However if you feel a call has originated/transited from our network or know of an Aloha number that is being used in such a way as described above, please let us know and where possible will take appropriate action.
