- This is your stock replacement 302 / 5.0 race engine block. If you've cracked your stock 5.0 block this is the repalcement. DART blocks use all factory accessories and related components.
We use these DART blocks in our blower, turbo, nitrous and high RPM combinations. We've run over 1500hp through them and have yet to have a failure with any of the SBF DART blocks we have used. The blocks ahve several features that make them a better bargain the the FMS race blocks including:
- Better Machine work (DART Blocks generally require less machine work than comparable brands to finish for assembly)
- DART blocks have billet main caps (Ford blocks are ductile iron)
- Revised Oiling, DART blocks have priority main oiling modifications for increased oiling
- 4.185" overbore capacitity, DART's thicker cylinder walls allow for increased cylinder stability (better ring seal = more power) and greater overbore capacity.
