The Pigsty Hill
Light Railway -
a Very Small
Garden Railway

This is the story of a large scale railway in a very small garden - less than 200 square feet to be precise.

For those not in the know, Pigsty Hill is a part of North Bristol (and also a part of Ankh-Morpork, but we won't mention the Pigsty Hill Dead Marmoset gang here).

The Pigsty Hill Light Railway first appeared in 1983, and is named after the area where I lived (and still live). It is also a tribute to the Pigsty Hill Light Orchestra, which achieved a certain notoriety in the 1960's and 70's.

You are welcome to e-mail me your comments on these pages, bearing in mind that, like the railway, they are always under development.
