“Working on a miniature high pressure air compressor system for an aircraft project, Ultra had a requirement for a specialised four into one ‘back to back’ military standard electrical connector. The design had to be compact, lightweight and meet the demanding electrical standards and environmental conditions for the aircraft. Liaising with Jon Kennedy an elegant design concept was generated that satisfied all these requirements. During the course of the development phase a good working relationship was established, leading to the manufactured design working straight out of the box and going on to pass stringent qualification testing.
