NICEIC Certificate
NICEIC is the electrical industy's independent voluntary organisation offering industry-wide recognised training including Building Regulation Schemes; advice and a directory of over 25,000 approved UK contractors. To be approved by NICEIC, contractors have to demonstrate professionalism and compatancy to offer peace of mind to potentoial customers.

F Gas Certificate
From July 2011, F-Gas Certification has been required by law for companies that install, maintain or service stationary refrigeration, air-conditioning and/or heat pump equipment containing or designed to contain F-Gas refrigerants.

Employers' and Public Liability Insurance
AGS take safety very seriously and plan all work to run in a professional manner, using best practice. However, if required, this insurance provides protection for AGS customers employees and the public if needed. Additional protection is in place for Public/Products liability Excess of Loss, (see separate certificate).

Additional Employers' Liability Insurance
An additional £5m cover is in place to protect the organisation from major claims taking the overall cover to £10m. Many contracts, especially from local authorities and government departments now insist on this extra level of safety.

ECA Membership Certificate
The Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA) is the UK’s leading trade association representing the interests of contractors who design, install, inspect, test and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and services. Each Registered Member undergoes regular, rigorous technical assessments to ensure they carry out safe electrical work, installed to recognised industry standards and practice.

AGS engineers are trained and certified to install Mitsubishi heating systems.

CHAS Certificate of Accreditation
CHAS is the largest health and safety assessment and pre-qualification scheme in the UK, audited and accredited by an Independent SSIP appointed Auditor who in turn, has been approved by the Health & safety Executive. All CHAS Assessors are NEBOSH qualified, practicing health and safety professionals who also attend CHAS specific training on a regular basis. CHAS is audited annually by the UKAS accredited certification body BM TRADA Certification to both the ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards, thus ensuring environmental management systems continue to deliver a high quality service and operate in an environmentally friendly manner.

Waste Registration
AGS provides responsible and audited disposal of waste materials, registered by the Environmental Health Agency as an upper tier waste carrier, broker and dealer under regulation 28 of the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011.
Legal duties include:

i. restricted mixing and required separation of waste materials (where appropriate)
ii. providing whole of life documentation for the movement of hazardous waste
iii. providing the Environment Agency with quarterly disposal and recovery information.
Altius Assured Award Scheme
After assessment, AGS have been granted the Altius Assured Award, an industry wide scheme designed to reduce the risk to clients by registering only those organisations able to demonstrate best practice.

Associate member of WMSoc, an independent water industry body, committed to research into water management and water-borne organisms, their effective control and regulation and to putting in place best practice through training and education.

Watermark - Approved Plumbers for Severn Trent
AGS is a sector member who has completed appropriate training and accreditation to test a Reduced Pressure Zone (RPZ) valve. Members of the scheme demonstrate a good understanding of the current Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 and offer reassurance to customers that their accreditation is recognised within the industry.
