On September 22, the Allston Brighton Community Development Corporation will begin a four-week course in English on all aspects of buying a home.  The course will be sponsored by TD Bank.  The class will meet Wednesdays for four weeks from 6:00 to 8:45 PM at Caritas Health Care – St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center. Income-eligible graduates will receive between $1,000 and 3% of the purchase price for downpayment and closing cost when they purchase a home in Boston. In addition, they will be eligible for Fannie Mae, MHP’s SoftSecond and MassHousing loan programs and other low-interest rate loans in the state.  Graduates will have access to low-downpayment financing options for buyers of all incomes and free individual homebuying counseling. The registration fee is $35 per person. Pre-registration is required.
