The Other Loch Ness Monster - 1 x 30

The other Loch Ness screen grabBorn to a wealthy brewing family in 1875, but vilified by the press, Aleister Crowley was a man whose notoriety spread across many areas of his life; self proclaimed sex magician, futurologist, accomplished mountaineer (K2), drug addict, author, chess master and all round libertine. Since his death over half a century ago, Crowley has remained a constant hero of the counter culture, inspiring musicians such as the Rolling Stones, Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper and The Darkness. The Beatles included Crowley on the sleeve of their seminal “Sgt. Pepper” album.

This documentary looks at Crowley’s religous creation “Thelema” and the infamous Boleskin lodge in Loch Ness where he practised occult rituals and Magick.

This is the definitive film on Crowley, dubbed by the media as “the world’s wickedest man”.
