Perennials:

We have over 500 varieties of perennials at Alpine Nursery. With such a variety to choose from, we have organized our perennials both by the amount of sun they need as well as alphabetizing them. We hope this makes your shopping experience more enjoyable, whether you are browsing for a new perennial to add to your garden or searching for a particular variety. When you visit us, you will find our hostas, wildflowers, and shade loving perennials under the large wooden arbor. The full sun and part sun perennials are in separate areas. We also have a special sections of clematis and daylilies.

“We have over 135 different varieties of hostas...”

In early spring, the majority of our perennials are in small pots and sell for $2.50. Later, when the small pots are transplanted, they sell for $4.00.

At Alpine Nursery, we have over 135 different varieties of hostas to choose from”. We not only carry the traditional old fashioned favorites, but also have rare varieties to choose from. Our hostas are organized alphabetically and have informational signs letting you know the size, lighting conditions, coloring, and whether they are sun or slug resistant. In addition, we have many varieties of hostas planted in the "Hosta Glen" which allows you to see how large they are when fully grown.

The Hosta Glen is a beautiful and serene place to walk and sit.
We have nearly 200 varieties of hostas potted and ready for sale under the hosta arbor.
