PERIOD
Normal period of hire will be 7 days overall, ie minimum of 6 clear days on site. Maximum of 14 days hire by prior arrangement. After this period a rental fee may be charged at our current weekly rate. All days are counted as hire days including Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays etc.

THE SKIP
The skip will be and remain under all circumstance the property of ALL-CLEAR SKIP HIRE LIMITED. The skip will be of good condition and suitable for the purpose.

PAYMENT
The skip is deemed to be on hire whether it is picked up or not. Hire will still apply until the invoice is paid in full. Except by prior arrangement. All payments to be made before the skip is delivered. In the unlikely event of non payment or late payment, We reserve the right to pass on any charges incurred by us, ie Phone Calls, Letters, Debt Recovery Agents and Interest.

EXTRA CHARGEABLE ITEMS
Plasterboard cannot be placed into the skip with other rubbish. A separate skip or waste bag is available, please call our office for details. A surcharge will be levied if plasterboard is found in the skip. Mattresses are chargeable per mattress, please ask the office for a price.

WASTE MATERIALS BEING PLACED IN SKIP
The skip is to be loaded as per Duty of Care Act 1990, all contents must be contained in the skip with no false sides – our policy is LEVEL FILL It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure the skip is safe for transportation. If any of the skip is overfilled an additional charge of up to £50 may be levied for a return trip to collect the skip. No burning of waste in the skip or lighting of fires. Any damage caused by burning or fires will be charged accordingly and any consequential losses.

RESPONSIBILITYS
The hirer is responsible for compliance with the provisions of the Pollution Act 1974, the Highways Acts and Regulations and any other enactment governing hazardous goods.

SUBSTANCES NOT TO BE DEPOSIT IN SKIPS - BY LAW
Any substance gas or liquid, POISONS, RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL, TOXIC, ASBESTOS, ACIDS OR ALKALIS, FLUORESCENT TUBES, SOFAS, SOFA BEDS, ARMCHAIRS, BEAN BAGS, FUTONS & CUSHIONS, TYRES which may cause harm to persons, animals or cause pollution to land or water.
LIQUID WASTE - Not acceptable of any description.
PAINT AND SOLVENTS - Not acceptable
CAR BATTERIES - Only acceptable in small quantities by special arrangement.
GAS CYLINDERS - Not acceptable
FRIDGE FREEZERS - Not acceptable
NO HUMAN/ANIMAL WASTE
If any of the above items are found within the skip it may be returned to you and an additional charge will be incurred.

COLLECTION AND DELIVERY
The skip is hired on the understanding that access will be available at all times FREE OF ALL COSTS AND CHARGES. On collection all waste deposited in the skip, except those stated above, become the property of ALL-CLEAR SKIP HIRE LIMITED.

RESPONSIBILITY OF HIRER
The skip will remain at the address for the duration of the hire, if on private property must not be moved as to make it impossible for the skip to be loaded onto the transporter.
The skip will be placed on delivery in a position specified by the hirer or his servants, employees or agent and NO LIABILITY will be accepted for damage to driveways, public footpaths or grass verges or the land the vehicle may have to cross to deliver or collect the skip or overhanging trees or buildings. While the skip is on hire it will be responsibility of the hirer in respect of injury to all persons and third party claims. The hirer is responsible in full for any damage to the skip whilst on hire to them whatever the cause, theft of the skip and auxiliary, ie nets, lights etc. NO FIRES MAYBE LIT AS THEY WILL DAMAGE THE SKIP AND THE HIRER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE IN FULL.etc.

PUBLIC ROADS AND VERGES
Permits are required and can be obtained for you for a charge which includes hire charge for lights and cones. The skip will comply with road traffic regulations, the skip must not be moved from the permit area. It is the responsibility of the hirer to see the lights are working properly, any faults should be notified to All-Clear. All other hire conditions apply.

CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES
All-Clear Skip Hire Ltd shall not be liable for any subsequent expense, liability, loss, claim proceeding, whatsoever caused by or arising out of late delivery, non delivery, unsuitability or repossession of the skip, or any part thereof or any breakdown, or stoppage of same.
