The Bromeliad Society of Central Florida will be hosting the Bromeliad Extravaganza 2009 from November 13 to 15, 2009 at the Renaissance Orlando Airport Hotel. The hotel is located at 5445 Forbes Place, Orlando FLorida 32812, just north of the Orlando International Airport off of State Road 436 (Semoran Boulevard). The hotel can be contacted at (407) 240-1000 or toll free at 800-545-1985. The hotel hosts a 24 hour airport shuttle. The Bromeliad Extravaganza 2009 will host numerous events and speakers. There will be Bromeliad Plant sales, which give you access to the many bromeliads that are considered rare or are not common in peoples collections. Additionally, there will be raffles, a rare Bromeliad Plant auction and awards given for the best pineapple shirts, start searching for that cool pineapple shirt now.

Early bromeliad plant sales are on Friday evening and are open to conference registrants only.

The Extravaganza will have limited boxes and bags to carry plants in. Be sure to Be Green and bring your own boxes, bags, wagon, etc. to carry your bromeliad plants with.
