I love Google Reader! Every day I log in and find amazing recipes to try. Here’s one from Cathy’s Kitchen Journey. These looked too good NOT to try. I’m so glad I did. They are wonderful. Next time I might add a little Sriracha for spice. Otherwise, these were perfect!
INGREDIENTS:
6 chicken drumsticks
1/4C. Hoisin sauce
1/2t. Chinese 5 spice powder
2 Cloves garlic, minced
1T. Honey
2T. Soy sauce
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 500.
Add all ingredients, except chicken, to a large Ziploc bag. Close the bag and shake gently to combine. Add chicken to the sauce bag, seal and toss to coat. Set in the fridge for a few hours.
Bake in upper third of oven until skin is browned and chicken is cooked through, 25 to 30 minutes.
My husband said we should marinade next time we made it too! Glad you enjoyed it!
I made these tonight with wings and drumettes. I added about 2t. of Sriracha to it too.
