Lea Brook - Reclamation Appraisal Black Country Development Corporation In Lea Brook, in the Black Country, we appraised the reclamation of a huge site of former coal mining activity on which sections of the new Black Country Spine Road were to be constructed. Our appraisal concluded that open cast reclamation of the site, selling off reclaimed coal, represented the best value for money. The £14 million reclamation project was subsequently approved and Kier Construction were appointed as contractor. Eley Spine Road Stage 2 S R B Appraisal London Borough Of Enfield Eley Spine Road - this was a cocktail funded project for the creation of an improved road access to the Eley Industrial Estate in Enfield, north London. We prepared the SRB project appraisal for ,600,000 and the application for ERDF of ,1.2 million out of a total project of some ,3million. Other contributors included the private Eley Estate Company and the London Borough of Enfield. The appraisals and applications involved the identification and allocation of both costs and outputs to the relevant funding partners.
