Advice to Plymouth 2020
Partnership on a framework for targeting resources to areas based on targets
for intervention and withdrawal. South West RDA, Plymouth City Council and
Plymouth SRB Company jointly commissioned the study. We collected and
presented data relevant to area targeting and developed a theoretical basis
for area targeting (as opposed to, say, agencies targeting on the basis of
individual or household circumstances – another valid approach). Workshops
were held with leading players to explore this basis. An outline action plan,
with a detailed community action plan template was devised to allow
individual areas to work up full action plans. A copy of our report can still
be found on their web site www.plymouth.gov.uk .Study adopted and Neighbourhoods
now defined. |
