FORMAT
At this session we aim to do one simple thing; offer a warm and cuddly introduction to inline skating in a safe and fun group environment. Absolute beginners, your day has arrived!
LEVEL 1 - Absolute beginners
As an absolute beginner you will learn:
-
Correct skate set-up, including the correct tightness when securing and tightening skates
-
Falling technique
- Getting up technique (very useful!)
- Basic
balance
- Stationary position
- Forwards striding (skating) technique
- and most important of all...Stopping technique.
Citiskate instructors are particularly dedicated to building the confidence of people in the session!

Note that we
only rent good quality
skates from top brands like Rollerblade, Salomon or K2.

7:00-8:00pm, Thursdays
11:00-12 noon, Saturdays

The venue is IN THE PARK, so is weather dependent.
We usually make a decision at 5/5:30pm on Thursdays
and 9/930am on Saturdays

i) participant numbers be too low

ii) in the case of outdoor sessions adverse weather conditions.
In all cases we aim to give you as much notice as possible, usually 48 hours in i) and two hours in ii) . Please provide a mobile phone number when registering.

All Instructors qualified with either the International Inline Skating Association and/or the UK Inline Skating Association. All instructors are fully qualifed, have public liability insurance and background checks with Disclosure.
