'Culkeeran Maine at Cairnstorm' - aka Gloria - was born on 05.10.2005. Bred by Sue Cole [Culkeeran] she is out of 'CH Culkeeran Ghost' by Kathy Goodall's [Driftcot] 'Driftcot Ottowa' (Reserve Dog CC @ Crufts 2005 & 2007).
Gloria arrived at Cairnstorm, aged 8 weeks, in December 2005. She is a confident, funny, loving girl who has slotted into our pack effortlessly. She has a wonderful disposition and is constantly smiling. Without doubt Glory is an absolute delight to live with and despite her 'wood chewing fetish' we enjoyed her puppyhood immensely.
Gloria loves life & she enjoyed attending ringcraft & basic obedience classes as a puppy. She had her 1st show experience at The Irish Wolfhound Club Championship Show in April 2006 and although she didn't place (in a HUGE Puppy Bitch class with 23 entries!) she very much enjoyed her day out. Gloria is a hound that will take a long time to mature, therefore she has only been shown sparingly thus far. She has 1 x 2nd 1 x 3rd & 2 x Res and we are looking forward to the possibility of showing her more in the future as she matures. Gloria produced 'Cairnstorm Portland Bill' a beautiful singleton dog puppy sired by 'Cairnstorm First Edition' in April 2008, sadly he was lost at just 4 days.
