    International Cricket Captain 2009 database editor

    Where do you download the database editor?

    If it is not available yet when it is available can we have the ability to add new domestic leagues and cups and new international leagues and cups.As well as adding new teams like Hong Kong and Ireland.

        I have mixed feelings about the prospect of an editor. There are some things that it would be good to edit, but there will always be ways of abusing it, especially as the online game is a large part of ICC09.

          If a databse editor is released, then it bares no point for Childish Things to release another version of the game, because people will be content changing and creating players themselves, as opposed to buying a new edition, exploring the unknown, identifying new talent, etc.

            could they not make the game better with new feautres? improved youth systems etc.?

              You need money to invest into R+D to ensure such factors can be trialled, developed and implemented correctly.
              They work off a limited budget, and need to make sure that they use it properly and wisely, and only focus what can be done, not what might be done.
              If some good soul wants to invest a wad of money into them, then by all means I'll support the move, but I think its a bit rich to have a crack at them when you don't know the position and limitations they have.
              And I'm not having a crack at anyone specific, just a general feeling.

                Also, the current game engine is severely limited. The game engine itself is very close tohow it was at the very start of the game series, and, if entirely new things need to be done, the engine will require a great overhaul.
