REGISTRATION POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

GENERAL INFORMATION

Candidates wishing to participate in online courses must:

1. Provide CITA with completed and signed Registration Form by fax / by mail / in person or online along with the appropriate payment.
2. Create an account for themselves on CITA Online webpage. While creating the account candidates will choose their unique user name and password.

Upon the successful completion of the registration process, candidates will be provided by email with the Enrolment Key to access the online course.

PLEASE NOTE: The registration process is not completed until full payment is received.

Users of the online courses must maintain secure Enrolment Keys, passwords and user names for their accounts, ensure and safeguard against others obtaining unauthorized access to their accounts, and must not share passwords, Enrolment Keys or any other access control information for their accounts. Users are advised to log out of their accounts when their workstations are left unattended.

All courses materials are copyrighted. Users must exercise discretion when printing copyrighted material, and may not copy, send, duplicate, or transmit by any means any online courses materials.

Failure to adhere to the above online courses policy could result in suspension of usage privileges or other disciplinary action in CITA's sole discretion.

Dormant accounts showing no activity within 6 months will be automatically deleted from the online courses system and tuition fees will not be refunded.

CITA reserves the right to modify or cancel any course, program option, fee, timetable or location at any time. Please check CITA's Legal Note and Disclaimer for more detailed information.
 

FEES

All fees are in Canadian dollars and listed with the individual course description. Tuition fees are subject to 5% GST (Goods and Services Tax).

Tuition fees must be paid in full at the time of registration.

Available payment options:

Please make Certified Cheque or Bank Transfer payable to Canadian Immigration Training Academy and indicate your full name and course number on it.

Credit card transaction will appear on your next credit card statement as made to Solutions Immigration Consulting.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not accept personal cheques.
 

WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND POLICY

It is your responsibility to officially withdraw from courses you do not intend to complete.

To initiate a withdrawal you should contact Registrar's Office in writing.

Failure to attend classes / online lessons does not constitute an official withdrawal from courses.

A refund will ONLY be issued for a withdrawal request made PRIOR TO THE FIRST CLASS / ONLINE LESSON. After the first class / online lesson, fees are neither transferable nor refundable.

CITA reserves the right to retain a $25.00 Registration fee and a $10.00 Administration fee from withdrawal refunds.

Refund cheques will be issued for cash, cheque and debit card payments. Credit cards will be refunded for credit card payments. Please allow two to six weeks for refund processing.

In the event that CITA must cancel your course, your course fees will be refunded to you in full.
 

CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION / CANCELLATIONS

Confirmation of registration for online courses will be e-mailed to you along with the Enrolment Key.

If your course is being canceled by CITA, you will be informed either by phone or e-mail.
 

CERTIFICATES

Students enrolled in Certificate courses will be so awarded upon successful completion of their respective course.
 

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL PRIVACY

Information provided by candidates on the Registration Form will be held in confidence and used by CITA for the purpose of making admission and registration decisions, for communicating additional information about Academy-wide activities as well as for administrative and statistical purposes.
