Welcome To Cefneithin RFC Golf Society
Welcome to the new golfing season at Cefneithin RFC. The Society is open to all comers from beginners to more experienced players. Our scoring system will cater for high handicapper in the region up to hcap of 54! This allows all skill levels to take part end enjoy the game. Details of the coming season are as follows.
Handicaps
To register a handicapp you must produce 3 cards (9 or 18 holes) to the golf committee. Your initial handicap will then be calculated.
Scoring
The Stabelford scoring system is used to calculate points for every round of golf played. it has been extended to cater for up to 54 hcap.
Leaderboard
Points are awarded after every round based on your stableford score:- 1st = 3pts, 2nd = 2pts, 3rd = 1 pt. An additional point is awarded for attendance.
Events
Society rounds will be played every Friday night and a monthly 18 hole Green Jacket tournament will be held on the first Saturday of the month.
