Tyler Time: My MUST-HAVES for Fall.
No really. I need them.
Is Fall not the best season? So transitional. You can really wear anything. You can take some of your favorite Summer pieces straight into Fall. Unlike Winter to Spring (chunky sweaters on the beach are really only allowed in magazines unfortunately). Below is a snapshot of items on my “I-seriously-no-joke-need-to-have-it-begging-my-husband-otherwise-I-will-have-to-sneak-around-him” list for Fall. Maybe these pieces will inspire you and your wardrobe, as well. We’re doing it for the economy, right?
Nava-what? Nava-who? Navajo. It’s about to be everywhere and the best possible interpretation of this trend is in knitwear. So bohemian. Cozy and cool at the same time.
Cause I look good in leather. Sing it with me. But, whenever I dream about the soon-to-be-mine track suit inspired leather pants I get all warm and fuzzy inside. FINALLY, leather pants I don’t have to look like a sausage casing in. LOVE.
Oh. Weird. More pants. After finding the leather pants (above) I drifted off, clicking my way through pages and pages of pants for a solid hour. Why? Because I am OBSESSED. It’s a known fact by now. If I am checking on anything for upcoming seasons it is how we are going to be wearing pants. These Tibi pants combine all things I love. A little slouch, a little trouser, a little print. Heaven.
Necktie blouses. I know, I know, they can appear stuffy but, I have a solution. Instead of tying the knot or bow at the neck, unbutton the blouse a bit and tie low. Quick fix and keeping on trend!
And finally dresses. Oh dresses. Sometimes my friend and sometimes my enemy. But, I am loving this seasons colors and the interesting shapes and cuts. Asymmetric hemlines and necklines will be all over, along with cool cut-outs. Especially great on the shoulder (because no one has fat shoulders). Don’t forget wide brim hats (I already have one in leather), and anything in fur or animal print to tie in what’s happening for Fall.
