I am a Brick Lane Merchant

What a great Sunday! My friend and I went to sell our clothes on Brick Lane street!

This was the best deal to enjoy a sunny weather, make some money and spend time with friends. We can call it a 3 for 1!

Brick Lane market is half legal, half illegal so a large amount of traders has the license to sell in the street and most of them are selling foods. But if you decide to brave the Brick Lane street adventure, you’ will discover, right on the pavement, a large diversity of products to buy: old or vintage clothes, electronics, books, and bikes…

Brick Lane is a very cosmopolitan area where you can meet different kind of people: families, tourists, students, professionals, from everywhere (in majority Spanish, French and Italian…some Indians and Pakistanis from the area).

The street has been home to immigrants for hundreds of years including the French Huguenots, and later the Jewish community. This is why you can buy bagels on Brick Lane, as well as sample some of London's best curry houses.

What do you need: Your clothes (washed!), a carpet/sheet to avoid the contact between your cloth and the disgusting sidewalk.
Where: Brick Lane street

When: Every Sundays, from 8am to 5pm
Why: Great vibes, nice people, good way to make some money! My friend and I made around £50 (each).
Tips: choose a sunny day, arrive early for the best spot and bring some friends.

Why don't you try and have a look around next week to see what you can find/sell.
You might also find a dealer to buy your things at Spitalfields market, only on a Thursday.
