WaveDriver v5.3.3 for Mbox on Windows XP

The Digidesign WaveDriver v5.3.3 is a two-channel, multimedia sound driver that allows third-party audio applications to record and play back through channels 1-2 of Mbox on Windows XP.

The Digidesign WaveDriver is not required to use Pro Tools LE, so it is not installed by Pro Tools LE 5.3.3. However, it is necessary to install Pro Tools LE v5.3.3 and your Digidesign hardware before installing the Digidesign WaveDriver v5.3.3 in order to use the WaveDriver with third-party applications.

Note: Digidesign WaveDriver and ASIO Driver cannot co-exist on the same system

WaveDriver should not be installed on systems which have the Digidesign ASIO Driver. Please see the "Installing WaveDriver" section of the WaveDriver 5.3.3 Read Me included with this download.

Control|24 files for Pro Tools LE 5.3.3:

• DigiNet.inf
• DigiNet.sys

Download to your hard drive and unzip.

To install Digidesign Ethernet support for Control|24:

1. On the desktop, right-click the My Network Places icon, and then choose Properties.
2. Right-click the relevant Local Area Connection icon, and then choose Properties.
3. Click on Install, select Protocol and Click on Add button.
4. Click on Have Disk.
5. Point to DigiNet.inf file in the \Controllers\ Control 24 directory on your Pro Tools Installer CD-ROM, or the location on your hard drive if you have downloaded this update.
6. Follow the instructions on-screen to complete the installation.

The Installer puts the DigiNet.inf files in the Digidesign\DAE\Controllers\Control 24 directory.
