The Children’s Traffic Club, endorsed by Mayor of London

An official letter from the Mayor’s Office has been sent to key stakeholders and professionals in London to request support and encourage every organisation to champion The Club in their area, raise awareness amongst parents and encourage them to sign their children up for FREE.

Boris has explained how passionate he is about keeping London one of the world’s leading cities in which to live. To do this, he would like to make ‘getting around’ the capital a safe and enjoyable experience, starting with a vision of teaching our toddlers the core road safety messages by building risk awareness skills.  To make this vision for road safety in London a reality, everyone’s help is needed by supporting The Club so together we can reduce casualties and provide children with valuable life skills for their future and wellbeing.

The Children’s Traffic Club is an award winning road safety programme helping parents and carers teach their 3 to 4 year old children how to stay safe on our roads in a fun and memorable way. To date over 2 million children around the UK have become a member of The Club, and in London alone 220,000 children.

Boris Johnson, Mayor of London said ‘Thank you for supporting me and TfL to ensure more of London’s pre-school children receive the road safety support and care they need’.
