Oh Yes! The only dnb crew in Utrecht that is well-known for their broadly orientated line-ups is back once again! X-Beats proudly presents Drop! 030 @ dB?s on the 24th of September. Drop! will work their magic on dB?s, and will turn the venue into a palace filled with bass, drums, beats and steaming energy. Dare to think outside the box, and bring back the essence of Rave? To have a massive party! For this edition we will flip certain things around, and we will set the standards of Drop! quality even higher.
A brand spanking new sound system in the main area will fullfil your urge to hear and feel the frequencies that give you the shivers. A little hint, fellow sound system freakers and ravers might still hear the echoes of the old TBS sound system. You will hear them again, rejuvenated and refreshed, but most of all, ALIVE AND KICKING ! The system will be introduced as Enter The Voodoo Sound system.
Alongside Drop!'s king of visuals VJ Harriebo, dB?s new light setup and Drop!?s laser show it will be even more massive this time! And yes, we keep repeating that every edition!

SILVAHFONK // Ichione, jungletek // Hauling from Amsterdam SILVAHFONK pushes his J-Tek sound further and further, and is well known for his technical skills and magical selection of records in his sets. This legendary Dutch dj originated from the dnb sc?ne, and wrecked many dance floors during his career. Nowadays likes to keep the bpm level around 140, but he will still make your feet step until they smoke? watch out!
LUCY FURR // PRSPCT, Triple-D, dnb // Also known as Miss Hysteria, this mistress of bass kicks played at many big (hardcore) events throughout the globe. As LUCY FURR she brings you the best of darkstep, snarecore and other varieties of the dark side of drum 'n bass. LUCY FURR means serious monkey-business, so prepare yourself for a wild ride ?
TYSON // Forms, dnb // TYSON founded Forms when many of the people reading this announcement (including the writer!) didn?t even know what drum ?n bass was. Now Forms is the longest running dnb crew in Holland, well-known for their massive list of high-quality party?s and selection of equally great DJ?s. In Arnhem they are still the hottest thing around, together with dj Unreal and dj Trap our hero for tonight ? TYSON ? still makes things happen, big time! We are very proud to have this kind of quality performing at Drop!
SHANODIN // dubstep // This Rotterdam based lovely lady knows how to make bassbins rumble, and to rub-a-dub. SHANODIN has been around for quite a while in the sc?ne, starting of back in the day as a dnb-dj. With the birth of dubstep in the Netherlands she was one of the first (if not the first!) female dj that switched over to Dubstep, with great success! But for this Drop! edition, yesyes!!, she will do a combined dubstep & dnb set, which she hasnt done in quite a while! Back to the old school, back to your roots!
INOFAITH // Shipwrec, dubstep // Living in Deventer INOFAITH made his voice well heard in the Dutch dubstep sc?ne ? as a producer and dj ? but also as a promoter for the music. His participation on the dubstep.nl forum (RIP) and the Dutch dubstep page on Facebook keeps the sc?ne connected and informed. He is a man with deep musical knowledge and this can be heard back in his (intelligent) view on dubstep today. Expect the unexpected from INOFAITH.
OTALGICUM // FreaX, tekno/frenchcore // FreaX resident OTALGICUM comes to bring you the new flavour of Frenchcore mixed and blended with a fine sauce of Tekno. This Utrecht based dj brings you bass kicks to row your boat on? Don?t say you haven?t been warned!
LARRY DE KAT // GrooveRoots, techno // This grooving house-cat loves the sound of the more intelligent funkyness of house and techno music. For Drop! he is willing to spice up his blend with the sourness of Acid, the sweetness of Soul, the bitterness of Jazz with a finishing touch of Breakbeat. This man can do what nobody can, and has more lives than anyone. That?s why is he?s named LARRY DE KAT, and th?t?s why is he is back at Drop!
POISON YVY & MINOR SETBACK // Drop! // Flipside, dnb // This dynamic duo will bring you every aspect of dnb and dubstep you can imagine. Their fast mixing and hunt for big drop!s will turn out into a fine collaboration. The Arnhem based promoter of Flipside MINOR SETBACK sure knows how to make your hips swing, and POISON YVY knows how to swing hers. This will be madness, right from the start!
MAKALI ?jungle // New kid on the block MAKALI knows her classics. She will bring you the best in nu- and old school jungle, strictly vinyl selections. After attending dj-classes in Utrecht she started to play at various house-party's in and around the city which made every party turn in to a jungle-party! So she definitely deserves her spot at Drop. Come support her passion for being a junglist, and recognize! -
TONY VAN HEEMSCHUT? Drop! ? TONY is the man with the plan. This part of the ?brothers Drop!? brings you the best in underground electronic music. He is a true chameleon in his selections, and can make anything involving turntables happen. This wizard of Mix-craft is part of the Drop! resident dj?s, and will play his sounds in the main area this time. Special selections by TONY VAN HEEMSCHUT, every quality bass-music fanatic should be there.
DROP!U! // drop!, dnb // Promotors of Drop! Ozymandias and Mike-L work together as DROP!U!. Known for their stomping, up tempo drum 'n bass sets they know just how to make the Drop! crowd bounce and bump.
Their performance guarantees fast mixing combined with 100% Drop! quality drum ?n (mostly) bass!
It will be a night filled with the best Holland musically has to offer in the lines of Dnb, Dubstep, Jungle, Tekno, Acid/House and Breaks.
