Well, find me a lamppost, ladies and gentlemen, ’cause I feel a song coming on.

This is my inaugural cover and ain’t it a beaut? She’s just so soft and alluring. Classy. Seductive. Inviting. Or sheer, unadulterated gorgeousness, in other words. The font’s ideal and the model looks exactly like I’ve imagined Cecilia, my debutante with the dilemma, a hundred times.

*happy, happy sigh* There just aren’t words to describe how much I love this cover. It’s just perfect and I honestly think it is one of the nicest historical covers I’ve seen in a long time. But the bestest, most wonderfulest, fantasticalest thing about the whole deal? It’s my name on the cover!

Ahem. I was calm, cool and collected when the call came. Businesslike through the edits and revisions. But I have been walking around with a grin, plastered to my face, since the moment I saw this beautiful, beautiful piece of artwork earlier this week and I don’t think that feeling’s going away anytime soon.

Gene and I could so do a duet right now. I totally get it now!
