This is cute! A rock group called Ladies of the Canyon talks about wanting to build a time machine to go back in time to the seventies:

After a long day of music journalist questions about how they classify themselves (are you country, pop or rock?), they had decided that the best way out of here, and away from these kinds of questions, is a time machine.

"If it was the '70s, it wouldn't really be a problem," explains Davies. "It would just be rock'n'roll, and they would play us on the radio, and it would be awesome."

"We're working on a time machine that, specifically, lets you go back in time to 1968. We could all be 20 again, but with [the musical ability and skills we have now], and we can spend the whole '70s opening for The Eagles and The Band," explains Anna Ruddick (vocals and upright/electric bass). "And Glenn Frey is going to be my boyfriend.

"And we'd just fly around being really famous on a private jet, lying around on piles of money and doing giant, '70's quality rails."

"But Glenn Frey is a really little guy," cautions Davies, who is keen on taking on Steely Dan (despite my admonishment that at 20 in 1970, she would probably have aged them out).

I have never seen this article... and I will admit, I did not search this thread to see if it was posted previously. It's from 2008...

ETA: LOL ... of course it's on this site!!! I just read a bit further and see that Soda had left a comment for the author. For those that have read it, it'll be fun to revisit it... and for others, it'll be new to you!

It's real lump in the throat stuff.

For those of us who sometimes feel that Glenn is not given the credit he deserves, or that there is insufficient appreciation for his talent, Mr Sullivan puts our minds to rest.

Got this tidbit in a Google alert. Poor Sugar has enough problems with his RA !

In addition, Dr. Brown has treated celebrities such as Glenn Frey from the Eagles and former Guns n' Roses guitarist Duff McKagan for posture improvement from years of 'guitar back.'
