Economic Cutting Ltd. was established in 1968 with the aim of providing the metal industry with a reliable and cost effective metal cutting service. The company has expanded over the years and has outgrown the 2 previous factories, and is now located at Handsworth, Sheffield, ideally situated close to the M1 network.

The Company specialises in the hire-work sawing of a vast range of steel sections and can cut anything from 6mm diameter up to 1000mm diameter. Overhead cranes with a lifting capacity of 15 tonnes can cope with heavy jobs.

The wide range of metal cutting machines means the company can efficiently cope with a vast range of cutting jobs, from one-offs to large production runs, and from aluminium to hard nickel alloys. The Company is commited to giving a speedy and reliable service, and the implementation of BS EN ISO 9001 quality assurance shows the emphasis put on quality.
