Our portable equipment comes to you.  For metal painting and finishes we use
equipment that electrostatically charges the paint so it adheres to any metal surface.  

We paint houses and other surfaces too, but when painting metal the electrostatic
paint process is the best.  We put a negatively charged electrode on the metal surface
that looks like a battery cable. The paint has a positive charge and when the paint is
sprayed the positive and negative charges attract the paint to the metal surface just
like a magnet.  This is the most efficient way to paint and our ability to control the paint
thickness is amazing with minimal to no overspray. (98% transfer efficiency) Other
benefits include no dripping, no brush marks and uniform application.  We also have
two-component urethane products that are comparable to powder coating. These
products have UV inhibitors that are able to withstand the harsh southwestern
environment.

First we start by removing any oxidation
from the surface.











Adjacent surfaces are masked to protect
from overspray. Our mobile equipment
goes just about anywhere.
The paint is mixed with solvents that allow
the paint to accept an electrical charge. A
meter is used to measure the electrical
resistance which must be at a precise level.





A ground wire is attached to the metal to
give the metal a negative charge.








We use the Ransburg #2 process gun with
a special bell at the end that spins at 700
RPM's.  This process uses standard 110
volt electricity either supplied from an
standard household electrical outlet or our
own generator on our portable trailer. It is
then converted to a 100,000 volt positive
charge which is transferred to the paint  as
it passes through the bell on the end of the
paint wand.

The paint is magnetically attracted to the
metal and wraps around all sides to ensure
uniform coating.  This allows many objects
to be painted in  very hard to reach places.

Solid adhesion and proper surface preparation makes our paint treatment perfect.         The metal is cleaned to insure perfect
adhesion.  The metal to be refinished is given a negative charge, while the coating is given a positive charge .  The coating is
pulled to the metal surface by the magnetic field, ensuring that the new coating dries to a beautiful finish.

Refinishing rather than replacing will save tremendously in remodeling costs.  This is not your ordinary paint job; this is a chemical
coated finish system. Electrostatic Paint coating wraps around the item to be painted so all areas are covered.  Therefore protecting
them from corrosion.  Wraps because it applied with a circular motion not a spray and magnetically attracted to the metal.

"How it works"
Electrostatic painting creates a uniform and durable finish on metal and usually without sags, runs, drips and bubbles which can
occur with traditional paint methods.  This painting technique uses the principal of "opposites attract" to adhere to every kind of
metal.  Electrostatic painting process is simple in concept and operation.  The part to be finished is electrically grounded.  When
applied, the charged paint is attracted to the grounded surface to insure a proper coating.  It's much better than conventional
spraying and it's an environmentally friendly process because there  are no solvents to evaporate into the air or go down the drain.
