The 3rd Summer Meeting of the Society of Lady Captains of Essex was held at Ballards Gore Golf Club on a glorious sunny day. Lady Captain Sandra Miller and her ladies looked after us very well both on and off the course. Over 60 ladies, representing 24 clubs across the County, competed in the 4BBB stableford competition off full handicap with 2 score to count on 2 holes. The course was in lovely condition and some excellent scores were recorded with 3 pairs on 48 points and 2 pairs on an impressive 50 points. The management and staff at Ballards Gore took very good care of us. The winners and runners up are pictured below with Jan Collier (Lady President) and Sandra Miller (Lady Captain of Ballards Gore).
