The minimum configuration for your server computer should be Intel Pentium IV processor (or equivalent) with 512 MB Ram (1024 MB recommended) and 20 GB of free disk space. The operating system should be Windows 2000//XP. It should have an Ethernet adaptor (network) card installed running at a minimum of 100mbs, which needs to be configured to use the TCP/IP protocol. A dedicated server for your office is recommended for 2+ users and is mandatory for 4+ users on your network.

The operating system should be Windows 2000/2003/XP Professional. It should have an Ethernet adaptor (network) card installed running at 100mbs (preferably 1000mbs), which needs to be configured to use the TCP/IP protocol.

The minimum configuration for each of the other user work stations in your offices should have Intel Pentium IV processor (or equivalent) with 512mb of memory (1024mb recommended), 20mb of free disk space and with an operational system of either Windows NT/2000/XP. It should have an Ethernet adaptor (network) card installed running at 100mb and be configured to use the TCP/IP protocol.
Allocating images is very memory intensive and it is therefore recommended that the PC doing this task have 1024mb of memory installed.

To utilise our digital print option you must have Microsoft Word 2003 installed. For the ability to reverse images for A3 property particulars, landscape option you must be running XP word. We will provide print driver software for the file process to deliver to our digital printers.

For synchronisation to process and upload large amounts of property or applicant data to other branches we would recommend a minimum of ADSL lines to be installed in your branches. EAPSync can only be installed on dedicated servers.

When property data is synchronised to another branch the information will be read only. Only the originating branch of that property can edit the property record. The receiving branch can print details and create viewing. If they wish to add information to the record they can only add these in the central notes area of the record, which the originating branch can read. With applicants you have two options. The option listed above or you can set up the forward applicant option where the record of the applicant can be edited. The changes for that record will be made to other branches when synchronisation occurs. The originating branch always remains the same.

To utilise emailing of property details via the matching facility within Estate Agent Pro, Microsoft Outlook or Express must be used to send email on each PC. You can use other email programs to receive or send email outside of Estate Agent Pro. Using Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 (or similar) is recommended. This will increase the speed when emailing attachments from Estate Agent Pro.

If we host your website and it includes multiple images it is recommended that you have ADSL/ ISDN lines installed in your branches. Modem dial ups although acceptable will be a lot slower which could create error during the upload process.
