I have been owned by this breed since 1976 when I bought my first GSD he was named Fleetwood Floyd and was of edensmuir breeding I did obedience with him and trained him to advanced stage it was then that I realized that I wanted to try my hand at showing I new that Floyd was not good enough for the showring so I purchased a bitch puppy for showing she was Snarehill lisa She did alright in the ring. I registered the affix Jasmar with the KC in 1980, and in 1981 I mated lisa to Rintilloch Rogue and kept a bitch puppy who was registered as Jasmar Alexis (zara) hip score 0/3 who did very well in the ring winning at both open & champ shows with 2 best bitch awards I also purchased a bitch by Labrasco Fidelio Rossbar Tammy who I mated to Nino v Hassenborn, I kept a dog pup from this litter named Jasmar Chiko As I was a miner at the time we had to sell most of our dogs in 1984 due to the strike as we could not afford to keep them, i did keep Zara who died in 1993 from cancer In 1985 I then bought Allankee Nougat who was by lauser v Hassenborn x Allankee Marianna Unfortunately I split from my wife in 1986 so did not show or breed any dogs until 1994 when I bought Bedwins Jacca ( gemma) who died in 2005, by Bedwins Barry x Yucca vd Wienerau and Bedwins Valera (sindy) by Bedwins Siegaro x Bedwins Yilka. I then registered the affix Eskgyle with the KC in 1995. I met my Fiancee Josie in 2001(to whom i owe a huge thankyou for all her help with the dogs) and in 2005 I put her daughters name on my affix Miss Bronwyn Roe as she is also very interested in the GSD In 2006 I bought Pondhera Antigone of Eskgyle (tiggi) hip score 5/6 elbows 0/0 Shotaan Branko x Shotaan Whitney from Mike and Steve Cox of the Shotaan kennel, then at the end of 2006 I also bought Shotaan Farrina of Eskgyle (rina)hip score 4/5 elbows 0/0 Figo van der Lust x Shotaan Avina from them. On 08/08/08 we purchased Prixi v Klostermoor (imp Germany) (Pixi) HD fast normal ED normal DNA Arko v Butjenter Land VA (DK+B) SchH3x Simba v Westervenn HD normal ED normal DNA SchH2 V. from Joan & Davy Hall (Gayvilles) on the 14th sept 09 we purchased Nikonis Henrietta from Nikki and Syd Farley (Nikonis) she Is by the VA4 Kwantum v Klostermoor SchH3 KKL1 A exNikonis Shana SchH1 V I am now concentrating on two lines the Prixi v Klostermoor line (Arko) via Missi, Limara, Quenta, Xinte, Zani and Zarah, the Pondhera Antigone of Eskgyle line (Erasmus) via Tigra Natalie Vanta and Yazz
Jim Jack joined myself and Bronwyn in our kennel as a partner in 2017.
Also Jims Grand daughter Lacey Dow who will now handle all eskgyle dogs.
Sadly on the 4th december 08 my fiancee' Josie lost her 4 year battle with cancer and passed away peacefully in her sleep at home with us. Josephine Roe 22/01/58 to 04/12/2008 (love and miss you always)
