Derivano li sottonominati da Ottavio de Franchini, il quale dall’Imperatore Ferdinando II con Diploma 16 settembre 1625 fu dichiarato con tutta la sua discendenza mascolina e femminina nobile del Sacro Romano Impero in premio dei servigli prestati. Sua Maestà I. R. A. con Sovrana Risoluzione primo luglio 1819 concesse ai medesimi la conferma della qualificazione nobile, prescrivendo che cessate essendo le relazioni dell’Impero di Germania questa nobiltà avrà da valere per essi e per i loro legittimi successori soltanto riguardo alle prerogative della nobiltà dell’Impero d’Austria. •
Questa Famiglia è altresì fregiata della nobiltà procedente dal cessato Consiglio nobile di Verona a cui era aggregata.

Nobles of the Austrian Empire who live in Verona
One branch of Verona Franchinis descend from Ottavio de Franchini. On September 16th, 1625 Emperor Ferdinand II granted Ottavio and all of his his male and female descendants, the rank of noble of the Holy Roman Empire as a reward for his service to the Emperor.
On July 1st, 1819, His Majesty I.R.A. (Reigning Emperor of Austria ?)onceded the same noble status, that given the cessation of relations with the German Empire, the title would be valid for Franchini and his legitimate heirs only in reference to the nobility of the Austrian Empire.
This family is also entitled to retain any nobile status that preceded the Consiglio nobile de Verona.
Giovanni Antonio, son of the late Carlo and of Countess Camilla Tomasini, born on May 17th, 1769. Died October 8th, 1820.

I am writing just to add a few data for the complexion of you research: this branch (Franchini of Verona which became Franchini Stappo at the beguinning of XIX century) obteined, at the beguinning of XVIII century, the title of count which was confirmed together with the noble of Verona and noble of Holy Roman Empire by the Italian kingdom shortly after its unification in 1970.
