Bainimarama nobody’s puppet, says Khan
There is dispute over a claim Fiji’s interim leader is being controlled by the Attorney-General.
Lieutenant-Colonel Tevita Mara has fled to Tonga after being charged with mutiny and sedition charges in Fiji. He’s attacked Frank Bainimarama on YouTube, saying he is nothing more than a puppet of Fijian Attorney-General Aiyaz Khaiyum.
Radio Tarana chief executive Robert Khan does not think Bainimarama is anybody’s puppet.
“I’ve met him a few times and we’ve interviewed him … he’s a very strongheaded man. He’s got his views firmly intact and he’s very sure what he’s doing.”
Mr Khan says there is a machinery behind Bainimarama that works and by default there is always a finger pointed at Khaiyum, who is seen as his right hand man.
Radio Tarana has been told a civilian helped Lieutenant-Colonel Mara get out of the country, not anyone in the military.

I have just strayed onto lord haw haw walsh’s crappy blog to find one of my comments on C4.5 pasted on walsh’s crap.

Is this Khan a coup collaborator? Perhaps a closer look needs to be made of radio tarana and all those associated with it?
Radio Tarana is a Auckland based racist Indian radio station based in Auckland. Robert Khan is related to John Prasad who used to be CEO of Ministry of Finance,,,,,the lab technician unemployed in NZ. Guess who bought him to Fiji – Aiirse Kaiyum. How??? – they are related and friends.
Khaiyum has also fixed contracts / sales for Robert Khans friends in Fiji without proper tenders etc.
Robert Khan always hosts Baini on his station as he is a financial beneficiary of the coup in Fiji.
Feel sorry for Robert Khan senior a respected lecturer and former Director at PSC given his sons corrupt activities.
Now Robert Khan junior is creating smokescreens to protect himself, John Prasad and Khaiyum as the shit is about to hit the fan.

Well, let us be real: Any independent mind who has had the opportunity to exchange a few words with Bainimarama would agree that we are dealing with a poorly educated, insecure person with the mentality of a drill sergeant. He constantly seeks reassurance from those he considers his supporters and is unable to listen to any view that differs from his. At the same time he is thrilled by the power he has and would certainly never contemplate given it up. At the same time he is unable to think coherently. An ideal person to manipulate. Aiyaz on the other hand is a devious manipulative character promoted way beyond his capacities.

I say Bainimarama coup is a good medicine to the lazy native kaivitis. They must now learn to work hard and stop blaming the indians for thier problems. At least now their enemy is military and Bainimarama. What if Bainimaram was Indian!!!*****@@@
