My name is Dale Steinacker.

The name of this site comes from a quote on the back cover of Brennan Manning’s The Ragamuffin Gospel.  God “smiles upon us, the chosen objects of his ‘furious love.'”

I hope to use this site to explore the vastness of God’s love for us. I am not a minister but I have had a variety of religious experiences and have studied to tried to understand what God is telling me.

I am reminded of the minister who told me God had put him in the ministry to hear the messages twice. I hope to hear this message enough to really make it a part of my life.

My religious journey is varied enough that I understand various ways of thinking and talking about God. But, I am not planning to have this site be a center for theological arguments. I am focused on the overwhelming idea that God Loves us and wants the best for us.  That means His love can never end, but it also means He is calling us to be who He knows we can be.
