Dear Ernie,
first of all congratulation for your very nice software, it gives a great pleasure to use it.

I use it for studying Vocabulary flashcards, thus I regularly add pronunciation sounds to cards. The bug I've encountered is related to this.

If I record a sound, stop the sound recorder, then quickly go on the next card while the VU meter has still a non-zero value, the software crashes.
Moreover, It lost every sound added in that session, (added since the last time I've visited the "Decks" screen).

This happen too often, It's difficult - adding many sounds - to take care, each time, that VU meter goes to zero.

Please, let me know if you can reproduce the bug, and if you are thinking about fixing it soon.

Yes, it's a bug. I just figured this out last weekend and fixed it.
I couldn't figure out how to make it work so that you can close the screen right away, but I what I did was 1) make the meter go to zero quicker and 2) do nothing if you press the close button if the meter is still going to zero. So, if you press too quick, you'll just have to press again to close the screen, but at least it won't crash causing you to lose all your recordings.

Sorry about that! The new version should be available in about two weeks.


Edit: I just updated the app to not show any meter animation after recording stops. Now you can close the recording screen safely as quick as you'd like.
