All our meat is Free Range and locally sourced.

The breeds of cattle, sheep and pigs are essential to our success. The breed of cattle is a cross between Aberdeen Angus and Simmental and the reason for the cross breed is because of the Simmental shape and the short grain meat of the Angus.  The beef is supplied by Cherry Orchard Farm in Nailsea, Somerset.

The lamb are lean and succulent with the Suffolk cross Mule Ewe     being mated with a Texel ram.

We use large Whitecross Landrace pig for the ultimate carcass as it has an excellent shape that holds the ideal amount of meat and fat which makes it very tasty with excellent crackling !!

Pigs are sourced from Somerset including Prestige Pork
