Corona Light Wide Open Volleyball Tournament 2011

Come to Sarasota for the Corona Light Wide Open Volleyball Tournament - stay at Hotel Ranola! Let the games begin!! June 11th and 12th, volleyball competitors from the Sarasota, Florida area will be competing for cash prizes in the Corona Light Wide Open Volleyball Tournament. The event will take place on beautiful Siesta Key which was recently ranked the #1 best beach in America because of its bright white, powder-like sand. Siesta Key is a favorite location for volleyball players around the world, so come see what everyone is talking about!

What’s the grand prize, you ask? The winning team will take home $7500.00 in cash! Not bad at all. A grand total of $50,000 will be awarded by the end of the tournament….so bring it on.

Don’t play the game? There’s lots of excitement for non-participants, too. Enjoy the excitement of the competition and take in some sun on Siesta Key. Singer-songwriter Kelley James will perform a free concert at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 11 on the Corona Light Stage at Siesta Key Public Beach (948 Beach Road), as part of the opening stop on the nationwide Corona Light Wide Open beach volleyball and festival tour. James has one of the most popular live shows in the music business today and he consistently packs California’s most legendary music clubs, including El Rey, Roxy, Key Club and Avalon. Most recently James has been on the road with Mike Posner on his “Back To School College Tour” and will be joining O.A.R. on their extensive summer tour.
