rotel ra1520 vs cambridge audio 650a vs nad c326 bee

i thinking of buying one of this any opinion.really need help thanks a lot.plz give me advice this will be my first gear

My view, go out an audition these choices and have a good listen to a vocal and instrumental CD.

There's so many variables, speakers, speaker cables, interconnects, power cords ..... effects the AMP.

Each individual may have their personal preference.

i already try all of them like what you said there are lot of variables that make it harder just to choose wholely depend on the amp only.the cambridge audio have the highest watt but the rotel get better review though lower watt thats why i need help

If you don't consider the reviews, what would be your selection ?

At a certain point in your Hifi journey you may desire a bigger Watt Amp

Nad will be my last choice.cambridge audio a little but pricey after conversion from uk.rotel is cheaper and good for value.in uk rotel is 700 pound here it is rm2800.i confuse because sometime higher watt not necessarily better in sound.

btw hv u decided on the speakers?

amp in the dealer's system may sound ok but when used with yr speakers may not sound so ok.

speaker is either bnw 685 or dynaudio dm 2/7

So called "experienced ears" actually not that good coz absorb too much db already over the years lol

Nothing is compared to your own preference and ear drums. As what Arremie has highlighted as well.

As SF's comment...on choice of speakers varies from shop to house, as there are toooo.. many variables

Rule of thumb....get the foundation right the first time....the foundation being the "AMPS"... and you work your way up....interconnects, speaker cables, power cords...into CDP or CD Transport & DAC...TT & phono stage..... within your financial means.

If you insist on a choice......( that would be mine solely )

1. NAD ( owner of a 3020 ) - ( warm charateristics )
2. Cambridge Audio ( jazzy / funky charateristics )
3. Rotel - ( never had the time to check this out )

KLAV is just around the corner you may get a better deal for any of the above Amps or you might just go Tube Amp path.

thanks a lot for all the advices.it just in term of quality it is very hard for me to differentiate especially the price is more or less the same thus it goes down to all the small pieces that i dont know.Especially I still new to all this thing.i nearly got fool by this one hifi shop he try to sell 2nd hand item that he said a brand new item for expensive price.wingman then you prefer nad better than the other is it but the watt output is only 50 watt average compare to other rotel 60 watt and cambridge 75

It was a close call from being ripped off. If they are able to sniff out a newbie or a naive person they would want to work their magic.

Read up before you go out to audition a product, at least you would understand the sensible stuff and make out the "bull...t".

My personal preference would be the "NAD", followed closely by CA and Rotel (maybe).

My NAD 3020 is a 25 watter and drives a pair of bookshelves without any fuss. But at times there is a need for a bit of ooompppphhh.... .

For now that would suffice as i am into other tweaks......

hehe wingman thanks for the advices.the shop I went is tong lee in low yat.previously,I want to buy headphone from there they sell it for twice the price I got from wo kee hong.and again after few months I check their amp in this guy offer me an integrated amp that I know already 8 10 years old he said the shop is under renovation so better buy it fast.I have doubt when he says like that so I decline the offer.I will never go there anymore.

I am not sure about rotel as i only listen to RA04 before
I really love the CA650a, musical, warm and nice vocal when pairing to mordaunt short aviano with CHAI QING old songs~
according to previous experience on NAD C325bee i found it is on fast and dynamic side which might pair well with Dynaudio DM2/7 for your Lady Gaga songs in party sound volume XD
*I found DM2/7 really pair well with naim, u can try it @ CMY

hmmm i know dynaudio dm 2/7 is superb especially with good price .obviously when you pair something to naim nothing can goes wrong.sooo i stuck between nad and rotel.ca the price is a little bit expensive .rotel the performance is astounding.nad i tried it wth dali lektor 2 I cant sleep after ward the sound was really powerful .either the song is classic or dynamic it doest matter it was very good

I see lektor is another superb speaker around, from your feedback i think noting can be wrong with NAD + Dali
it is not easy to get rotel to test with Dali as not carry by the same distributor, but i do think that u can try asking Asia sound for rotel or A&L for Dali at amcorp mall to borrow the item for testing~

Just show your interest to buy the amplifier and wanna test how they match, i think that will be possible since in the same mall~ (i did it before but not A&l and asia sound)
If your budget allow i recommend u to go Dynaudio, of course it is because i listen to it before and confident with it~
Dynaudio DM2/7 may be the most value choice in Dynaudio range of speaker, since it is big without worry of bass problem and perform really good especially live recording which make me think of change my old proac.(lucky i am a die hard proac fans else i might bring the speaker back)
Futhermore, i found that some china review paring it with NAD perform very good sounding

Normally when choosing a system, 1st to choose the speaker u like then the amplifier.
i think u can try to find out which speaker perform the best for u then buy it and bring it to shops to match the amplifier,cables and player may get the best result~

According to whathifi price i do think that we cant compare the 2 speaker as dynaudio cost double of lektor 2 and really sorry that i cant comment much on lektor 2 as i dint listen to them before~
if cost is not a problem, it is still depends which sound u prefer not necessary the more expensive will sound better,
the DM2/7 has the tradition of dynaudio which has really fast and dynamic sound produce very "clean" sounding which someone might prefer speaker has more "taste"

I know in uk the price is twice the diff but in malaysia dali lektr 2 is rm2300 and the dyna is 3000 so you can see not much skydina what do you think.btw 4 ur age you have alot of knowledge about hifi

If i am in your situation i think i will get the Dynaudio and bring it to test the rotel and NAD out~
i see u are same age with me
this year is the 4th year i playing hifi~ my knowledge still cant comparable to those sifu level
