Happy Chippy is a new company formed in 2010.  The company has been set up by myself, Wayne Skidmore and is predominantly a one man operation but I am ably assisted by my family and many skilled trades people I have met throughout my 30 year career.  I am Reading based and have been working as a carpenter since serving a full apprenticeship at AWE in Aldermaston in 1981.  Since gaining my City and Guilds back in 1983 I have undertaken all manner of carpentry jobs both domestic and commercial.  From small jobs like hanging doors, changing locks and laying floors to larger projects like fitting kitchens and wardrobes, converting lofts and roofing.  My carpentry skills have also enabled me to build my own house through a "self-build" scheme.   If you have a project you can be assured of personal attention and be assured that I have the experience, knowledge and desire to deliver a great outcome for you.
