Just finished Why We Make Mistakes by Joseph Hallinan. If you have time to read an easy 200 pages on the myriad of ways our brains fail us, you should totally pick this one up.

At the very least, read this excerpt about Burt Reynolds punching a man with no legs. Or another about experts consistently misreading the same errors. It’s a fun book, great for nerds, pessimists, and schadenfreude enthusiasts.
