15TH CLEAN-TECH EXHIBITION

TEL AVIV, 5-6 JULY 2011

The 15th Clean-Tech exhibition of clean technologies and the environment will take place from 5-6 July 2011 at the Tel Aviv Exhibition Grounds, placing on the agenda issues of renewable energy, conservation and energy efficiency, the problem of water shortage, advanced recycling processes and green building.

The exhibition, which will be attended by professionals from Israel and overseas, will highlight the activities in the field of clean-tech of hundreds of leading Israeli companies including government agencies, environmental organizations, technological start-ups, venture capital funds and educational institutions at dozens of booths spread over 5,000 square meters. The exhibition will also include a special conference on the environment and clean technologies.

The 15th Clean-Tech exhibition will this year focus on four main issues: Israel’s transition to energy independence based on renewable energy development; dealing with the global water problem due to population growth and pollution of groundwater reservoirs; solutions and innovations in the field of energy conservation and greater energy efficiency in order to encourage green building, use of “grey” water etc; and the display of innovations in recycling water (in the context of groundwater pollution), paper products, glass, plastic and nylon in Israel and throughout the world.

Today the world faces two serious crises – the increasing problem of water shortage and global warming.  Developing the clean-tech industries will solve these two serious crises and bring economic growth to the world.
